As a licensed interior designer with a unique array of combined experiences in manufacturing, distribution, and design, Lauren has had the opportunity to work in a number of different markets in both the private and public sector including hospitality, military, healthcare, and education, among others. Upon graduation from college at Mississippi State University with a degree in Interior Design, completion of an interior design internship in Florida, and obtainment of her Interior Design certification (NCIDQ), Lauren accepted her first job as an Interior Designer for one of the largest architectural and interior design firms in the state of Mississippi. As a designer, Lauren worked on projects ranging from educational, corporate, and military to multi-family and residential. In 2009, Lauren took a leap of faith and accepted a sales position with a distributor of porcelain tile throughout several Southeastern states, representing multiple products sourced primarily from Italian and Spanish factories. As an Architectural Sales Representative, Lauren had the opportunity to see her projects from inception through completion, following them from conceptual design to final execution and client control, while maintaining territory contacts throughout Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, and Alabama. From there she went to work for Florim--one of the top leading porcelain tile manufacturers in the world. While at Florim, she called on architectural and interior design firms throughout the United States, securing specifications for multiple hospitality, corporate, educational, industrial, healthcare, and residential projects.

It was this initial leap of faith and introduction to sales, particularly tile, that led Lauren to embark on a career that has proven to be her niche. What began as an idea years ago is now Coastal Tile, and Lauren is eager to bring her experience and expertise to this new arena. Servicing a broad area, Lauren takes pride in giving back to a community which has enabled her to achieve her dreams. She is involved in several civil projects and is active in the community and her church.

Lauren resides in Gulfport, Mississippi with her husband, John, their daughter, Lennon, and their zoo of animals.
